Joanna + Glenn

A LASTING CHARM CITY CONNECTION

Celebrating matchmaking success

Joanna’s brother-in-law introduced her to Glenn, who he knew from work and suspected might make a good match. (Turns out, family often knows best!) The happy couple chose Baltimore as their wedding destination, since it’s where they spent most of their dates and is close to where they now live. After touring Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore with Randie, the director of catering, they knew they had found their dream destination — elegant, unique, and marked by plenty of rich history. An intimate ceremony in Vienna North featured lights in cylinder vases and scattered rose petals lining the walkway to the altar. The bride didn’t feel emotional when she spotted her smiling husband-to-be, but rather ecstatic the moment had finally arrived.

A Paris Room reception proved “just perfect,” thanks to ivory tablecloths and sunflower arrangements surrounded by candle light — cumulatively creating the perfect ambiance for a magical night.

“I had a vision of an intimate, romantic, classy wedding, and Randie really helped in making that vision come to life."

Glenn surprised Joanna by switching up their song from “All for a Woman” by Airborne Toxic Event to “This Years Love” by David Gray—her absolute favorite romantic song.
