Andrea (Andy) and Tory met at work, and love soon blossomed. They chose to celebrate their wedding in Baltimore, Andy’s beloved home for 15 years, since they deem this city “beautiful, historical,” plus “the people are down to earth.” They found everyone they had contact with at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor — from the front desk employees to cleaning and restaurant staff — to be “friendly, professional, and accommodating.”

Before the ceremony, which took place in the beautifully transformed Paris Ballroom, Tory relaxed with his two sons while Andy’s bridesmaids provided comic relief that kept her calm. Right after the couple said “I do,” all of Andy’s nerves dissipated.

The couple found the marble lobby to be a perfect backdrop for fabulous wedding photos, and guests enjoyed receiving a tasty signature drink right as they entered the cocktail hour, which was “a blur of excitement” and featured delicious appetizers. The newlyweds entered the reception to Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” before dancing the night away to their favorite '80s tunes. (Toward the end of the night, they were even able to coax the Monaco staff onto the dance floor!) The couple spent their honeymoon night at the Monaco, relishing memories of a dream wedding day.
